Still think I'm stupid but stepping out my comfort zone!

So This is me...This lady you see on the left in the photos. I'm a mum, conceptual photographer My FB page (mostly self-portraits), Wife (to an amazing guy) and now a Full-time fashion student!!!!! WAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

This week has completely blown my mind. I'm buzzing! A feeling I didn't resonate with in the weeks leading up to my first week. I mean...33yrs old, been out of education for over 12 years and I'm always bloody tired from mum-life (as I like to call it!). Was I going to fit in? Will anybody like me? Am I just too thick? 

Well I soon realised I wasn't thick-Just rusty and I fit right in, In Fact I've been mistaken for a tutor and got asked for I.D buying a pair of scissors. Go figure! 

This close fitting bodice block has to be my biggest
achievement of the week. I have never drawn anything so
technical and mathematical in all my life I called my dad (a
retired architectural engineer) with delight and we talked about
it for a good half an hour on the phone. I think he enjoyed it
as its a subject (technical drawing) he still loves.

My biggest challenge has been juggling mom-life and everything that comes with that....home owner, housework, laundry, cooking and cleaning to name a few alongside school runs, after school activities and Study. Jeeez, I've never been so tired, mentally exhausted. My brain is having a bloody good work out but I'm really enjoying myself, I'm enjoying the challenge and I'm enjoying learning...Learning something that I feel comes naturally to me.
